NEAR AI-related cryptocurrencies performed significantly better than the overall market in September
In September, artificial intelligence (AI)-related cryptocurrencies significantly outperformed the crypto market. According to Grayscale, the sector grew by 54% this month, while the overall crypto market increased by only 24%. Although the current scale is still small, with a market value of approximately US$15 billion, this field is expected to produce many "winners" in the next five years.

AI is increasingly attracting attention from the crypto market
The integration of artificial intelligence and blockchain is taking on new dimensions. Zach Pandl, research director at Grayscale, pointed out in a report released on October 2 that the potential of AI agents-software capable of autonomous tasks and transactions-deserves attention.
He believes that public blockchain will play an important role in the development of this economy. They provide an open infrastructure for automated payments, identity management, private computing, and data verification.
Therefore, Grayscale estimates that the sector has the potential to produce one or more "big winners" in the next five years. "We believe that the AI sector is expected to produce one or more leaders in the next five years," Pandl wrote.
