The net inflow of Bitcoin ETF was US$241 million, maintaining positive growth for three consecutive weeks.

The latest data shows that Bitcoin ETF recorded a net inflow of US$241 million, extending its positive growth momentum to the third consecutive week. At the same time, the Ethereum ETF reported a net outflow of $138 million, of which Fidelity's FETH products contributed $74.0624 million in redemption shares. This data highlights the divergence in institutional investor demand: funds continue to flood into Bitcoin funds, while Ethereum funds face net redemption pressure.

Between September 28 and October 2, the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF achieved a net inflow of US$241 million, extending this positive trend for three weeks. In contrast, the spot Ethereum ETF experienced a net outflow of US$138 million during the same period. Fidelity's FETH became the main driver of Ethereum's capital outflows with an outflow of US$74.0624 million, forming a sharp contrast between Bitcoin and the Ethereum ETF's recent capital flows.

Bitcoin ETF inflows continue

Since the launch of the product, Bitcoin ETF's capital activities have fluctuated violently, with large daily net inflows or net outflows occurring many times during this period. At the beginning of 2024, there were several inflow peaks exceeding US$500 million, one of which was close to US$1 billion. Subsequently, in the middle and late 2024, Bitcoin capital flows showed a mixed state, with outflows approaching US$1 billion in some periods.

From the end of 2024 to the first half of 2025, market activity accelerated significantly, especially in late October, when a single inflow once reached around US$1.3 billion to US$1.4 billion. As bitcoin prices move into the range above $100,000, strong net inflows also occurred between May and October 2025. Entering 2026, the flow of funds will tend to be balanced, and inflows and outflows of large and small sizes will alternate more frequently.

However, the latest chart shows buying activity picking up again, including multiple net inflows exceeding US$500 million. The largest single recent inflow was approximately US$1 billion.

The Ethereum ETF flows in diametrically opposed directions

The capital flow of Ethereum ETF has also maintained high volatility, from July 2024 to early October 2026. At the end of 2024, as the price of Ethereum rebounded to the US$3,000 to US$4,000 range, the flow of funds gradually turned positive.

Although the flow of funds throughout 2025 remains mixed, large inflows occurred in the middle and second half of the year. The net inflow for multiple days exceeds 100,000 ETH, and the maximum single-day inflow is close to 200,000 to 250,000 ETH. This period coincides with Ethereum prices breaking through the $4,000 mark and moving closer to the $4,500 to $4,800 range. After entering 2026, the alternation of capital inflows and outflows has become more common.

Latest ETF data shows weekly flow divergence

The latest data from the Ethereum section also shows positive signs of recovery, with net inflows exceeding 50,000 ETH for many days, and some even reaching or exceeding 100,000 ETH, although volatility still exists. However, weekly data from September 28 to October 2 showed different results:

The Bitcoin ETF increased inflows by $241 million, while the Ethereum ETF decreased by $138 million. Among them, Fidelity's FETH accounted for US$74.0624 million of the total outflow of Ethereum. Currently, the Bitcoin ETF has achieved net inflows for three consecutive weeks, while the Ethereum ETF has recorded a net outflow in a single week.
