Selling pressure in the crypto market has intensified, and the prices of ETH, XRP, HYPE and ZEC have experienced significant corrections.

Recently, selling pressure in the cryptocurrency market has been rising, resulting in a dramatic retracement in the prices of Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Zero-Knowledge Privacy Coin (Zcash/ZEC). Among them, Ethereum fell back from $2,700 to $2,560;XRP fell below the $1.45 mark;HYPE failed to effectively break the resistance level of $95; and ZEC fell by about 22% from its historical high. Analysts pointed out in their technical assessments that the key support and resistance levels of these four altcoins deserve special attention.

Ethereum: The $2,500 defense line raises alarm

Ethereum prices experienced a consolidation in the range of $2,650 to $2,750, and suffered large selling pressure due to downward breakthroughs. ETH fell below its short-term moving average of around $2,630, indicating a weakening on the technical side. According to analyst assessments, the US$2,500 to US$2,520 range is an important support area for Ethereum. If this position is held, the price is expected to retest $2,600 and rebound towards the $2,680 to $2,700 range. However, if the day's closing price falls below US$2,500, selling pressure will intensify further and may prompt the market to focus on the next line of defense at US$2,400 to US$2,450, or even US$2,300 to 2,350.

XRP: Key support levels face test

XRP once surged to US$1.65 in September and then turned into a downward trend, and is now falling back to around US$1.43. Lower highs formed in recent weeks suggest that buying demand has weakened and sellers have an advantage in the short term. Technically, the US$1.37 to US$1.40 range is regarded as one of the most important support bands for XRP. If this area falls, there is a risk that prices will drop further to US$1.30 to US$1.33. On the other hand, if XRP wants to regain its upward trend, it must first stand above US$1.45 and then break through the resistance level of US$1.50. Recovering these key positions will help strengthen expectations for short-term recovery.

HYPE: The $85 level risk highlights

HYPE, a native token of the Hyperliquid ecosystem, rose strongly in August from $57 and peaked at $97.50. However, the last rally near $95 failed, increasing the risk of a short-term correction. HYPE's first line of support is in the $87 to $88 range, with $84 to $85 being the more critical line of defense. If prices move below this region, the $80 to $82 range may be retested. If selling pressure continues to deepen, the US$75 mark may also be taken into account. On the contrary, if the HYPE price can exceed US$92.50, it may be the first technical signal for the buyer to regain power.

Zcash (ZEC): Issue critical warnings

Zcash hit the $1,650 to $1,700 range during its strong rally in August. But as profit-taking has increased recently, ZEC prices have fallen about 22% from highs to around $1,325. Technical analysis shows that the US$1,280 to US$1,300 range is the most important support band for Zcash in the short term. If the day's closing price falls below this area, the decline may expand into the US$1,200 to US$1,170 range. In a rising scenario, ZEC first needs to recover the $1,400 mark. Subsequently, breaking through the resistance zone of US$1,450 to US$1,500 will be a decisive factor in confirming the strengthening momentum of recovery.

Summary Assessment

Recent price declines in Ethereum, XRP, HYPE and ZEC suggest that short-term selling pressure in the cryptocurrency market is strengthening. For investors, Ethereum's $2,500, XRP's $1.40, HYPE's $85 and ZEC's $1,300 are key support points. Holding these levels will help support recovery expectations, while a downward breakthrough could trigger deeper adjustments in the altcoin market.
