截至撰稿时，有1,385,201枚ETH排队等待质押，而815,341枚ETH正等待退出。尽管绝对数值上的差异仍然显著，但趋势指向明确。
队列失衡的历史演变
在2026年的大部分时间里，这种不平衡严重偏向于“进入”端。就在最近，直到7月下旬，以太坊权益证明（PoS）历史上首次出现验证器退出队列为零的情况，当时有248万ETH堆积在入口队列中，加入质押的等待时间长达43至45天。当时的信号非常明确：几乎没有人愿意退出质押。
然而，此后局面发生了转变。以太坊的验证器退出队列在2026年9月底至10月初迅速扩大，从9月29日的约16.6万ETH攀升至10月2日的约85万ETH。
最可识别的催化剂是2026年9月30日MetaMask Staking部分基础设施遭遇的安全事件。事发后，该公司表示正在主动退出受影响的验证器并调查此事。10月1日，MetaMask更新称，其调查未发现钱包或客户资金受到影响的迹象。
Lido expects this part of ETH to gradually return as the affected validators gradually withdraw, balance withdrawal is completed, and tokens re-enter the pledge process. The entire process is expected to take up to 45 days.
Background analysis and key observations
The two-week backlog of exits reflects an operational bottleneck, but it does not mean that hundreds of thousands of ETH are about to be sold immediately. Independent estimates show that the affected pledge volume is approximately 523,000 ETH, involving approximately 17,000 validators; although MetaMask has not yet confirmed these specific numbers, the surge is mainly due to defensive actions by a single operator rather than a massive collective evacuation of Ethereum pledgers.
Despite this, the structural narrowing of the balance between imports and exports since May still deserves close attention. Ethereum has rate limits on both entrances and exits, with an upper limit of approximately 256 ETH per epoch, which means a daily processing capacity of approximately 57,600 ETH. If the exit queue continues to grow independently outside of one-time events, the safety cushion that supports net pledge demand for most of the year will continue to shrink.
