BTC The current price of Bitcoin is $120,032, representing a rise of approximately 1.25% over the past 24 hours. The market is currently processing the latest inflation data released by the United States. The Consumer Price Index for July showed a month-over-month increase of 0.2%, in line with market expectations; the annual inflation rate remained at 2.7%. The core CPI, excluding food and energy, increased by 0.3% month-over-month, marking the largest monthly increase since January this year. This led to an annual growth rate of 3.1%, compared to 2.9% in June. These developments provide important insights for investors regarding inflation trends and potential market reactions.
Currently, the focus of the market remains on “Saylor Strategy”. Last week, MicroStrategy purchased 155 bitcoins at an average price of $116,400 each, totaling $18 million. As a result, the company’s total holdings of bitcoins have risen to 628,946 units, accounting for approximately 3% of the total supply. The market value of these bitcoins approaches $46 billion, placing MicroStrategy firmly as the largest holder of bitcoins to date.
The advancement of ETFs alongside corporate holdings is also attracting attention. In addition to Saylor’s buying actions, Trump Media’s efforts to promote spot Bitcoin ETFs are also noteworthy. The company updated its SEC filing, designating Crypto.com as the custodian and Yorkville America Digital as the sponsor. This comes at a time when there was a net inflow of $260 million into global spot Bitcoin ETFs last week, with $246 million coming from U.S.-based funds.
