Despite the overall weak market trend and cold financial sentiment, the crypto market is not completely quiet. A few tokens continue to exhibit significant price movements that go beyond the average levels. With liquidity decreasing and market focus shifting rapidly, these “independent” tokens are becoming the focus of short-term investors. Analyzing their price trends and common characteristics could provide clues for identifying potential next targets for investment.

PIPPIN: A token born out of the AI Agent hype. It was a major player in the crypto market during that time.
From the end of last year to January this year, AI Agent tokens became the main focus of the crypto market. Tokens like ai16z(ELIZAOS) and swarms often ranked among the top gainers. PIPPIN was also part of that group of AI-related tokens at that time.
But nearly a year later, only PIPPIN remains. It was chosen by some whales for control purposes, and its price increased significantly within just half a month. On November 23rd, its price was only around $0.05. In just one week, its price skyrocketed to over $0.17:
On December 1st, PIPPIN’s price increased by more than 60%, reaching nearly $0.18. Analysts@frontrunnersx noted that PIPPIN showed signs of concentrated buying activity. Some addresses continued to accumulate tokens without any obvious selling behavior, which led to continuous exposure of short positions and resulting in massive liquidations. One address bought about $200,000 in PIPPIN just six days ago. After the price doubled, they decided to sell their positions. Currently, they are doing similar things with ARC.
On December 2nd, Bubblemaps reported that 50 addresses purchased approximately $19 million in PIPPIN tokens. It was also found that 26 addresses withdrew 44% of the PIPPIN supply from the Gate platform over a period of two months, totaling $96 million. Most of these wallets had recently been recharged with funds. The majority of the token withdrawals occurred on October 24th and November 23rd. At that time, the price of PIPPIN tokens had increased by over 1000%. Those who controlled the tokens accounted for half of the total supply, worth $120 million. In other words, PIPPIN’s accumulation began even before one month had passed, and the actual surge in prices occurred about one month and one week after the initial accumulation began. Subsequently, a certain whale sold off their previously held 24.8 million PIPPIN tokens, resulting in a loss of $3.65 million compared to the peak value of $7.6 million. On December 6th, Onchain Lens reported that a large wallet spent $33.1 million in SOL to purchase 16.35 million PIPPIN tokens at a price of $0.20 per token within three days. At that time, their profit exceeded $740,000. On December 16th, Bubblemaps again warned that the price of PIPPIN continued to rise, but those who held around 80% of the tokens, valued at approximately $380 million. Bubblemaps noted that since the last report (December 2nd), 16 new wallets have shown similar patterns: they were funded by HTX funds, purchased PIPPIN tokens at similar prices, had no historical records, and withdrew large amounts of PIPPIN tokens from CEX. Additionally, 11 wallets associated with Bitget were identified, holding approximately 9% of the total supply. Their funding flows and timing coincided closely, suggesting that they were controlled by the same entity. That night, as the price of PIPPIN dropped below $0.3, this “crazy coin boom” came to an end. But the next day, on December 17th, the price of PIPPIN once again rose to around $0.5, leading to another widespread sell-off. It must be said that the aggressive tactics used in bear market situations are quite brutal.
As of the time of writing, the price of PIPPIN is currently at $0.44, with a 24-hour increase of over 15%. Its performance continues.

FOLKS: A cross-chain DeFi protocol token. Its value has increased by nearly 24 times since the launch of its incentive program in S2.
As a cross-chain DeFi protocol that provides lending, staking, and trading services, primarily operating on the Algorand chain, not many people were initially interested in FOLKS Finance. However, with the launch of the S2 incentive program, interest in its token grew significantly.
It’s worth mentioning that during the S1 incentive program, FOLKS Finance distributed 1.5 million FOLKS tokens, including incentives for Chainlink. On November 6th, FOLKS was officially listed on Binance Alpha, with its lowest price being around $2.
On December 9th, after an official announcement from FOLKS Finance, the price of FOLKS tokens soared from less than $10.
On December 14th, after nearly a week of speculation, the price of FOLKS tokens finally exceeded $40, reaching around $47. This represents an increase of nearly 24 times compared to the lowest price.
Subsequently, the price of FOLKS tokens dropped rapidly, by about 80%.
As of the time of writing, the price of FOLKS is currently at $6.4, with a 24-hour decline of over 24%. The total supply is 12.7 million tokens, accounting for 25.4% of the total supply. The market value is currently around $81 million.

BEAT: A truly remarkable token that requires no further explanation.
As another alternative within the BNB Chain ecosystem, BEAT shares similarities with previous successful tokens like MYX and COAI. Its rise can be considered another classic example of such success stories.
It’s worth noting that the official account behind the BEAT token promotes an idea of “a Web3 AI entertainment platform built upon IPs”. This is essentially a version of the same concept, but with slightly different terminology. In early November, when BEAT was listed on Binance Alpha and its contracts, it was announced that there were over 1.2 million independent holdings of BEAT tokens on the blockchain. It’s true that “the more bold one acts, the greater their achievements will be.”
Similar to other successful tokens in the past, BEAT also started with a low market value. Initially, its market value increased significantly after being listed on Binance Alpha, reaching around $25 million. However, later on, its price began to plummet.
As of this writing, the price of BEAT is currently around $2.7 per token, with a 24-hour increase of over 14%. The circulating market value is currently around $440 million, and there are approximately 12,600 holdings of BEAT tokens on the blockchain.

AIA: A decentralized AI agent token. Its price fluctuates due to contract exchanges.
As the token for DeAgent AI, AIA attracted a lot of attention and liquidity after being listed on Binance contracts. Its price once rose significantly, exceeding $1 per token. However, due to the increasingly cold market environment and the gradual decline in interest in the AI concept, the price of AIA gradually stabilized, with continuous declines.
But the removal of AIA from Binance Contracts once again brought volatility to its price.
On December 11th, according to official announcements, Binance Futures announced that it would close all AIAUSD perpetual contracts at 20:15 on December 11, 2025, and perform automatic settlement. After the settlement is completed, these contracts will be removed from the market. AIA’s price plummeted by more than 90%.
However, later, Binance announced that Alpha 2.0 would support contract swaps for DeAgentAI (AIA). Starting from 20:00 Eastern Time on December 11, 2025, Binance Alpha 2.0 temporarily closed trading on AIA to carry out this swap. The swap will be carried out in a 1:1 ratio. The snapshot date was 20:00 Eastern Time on December 11, 2025. Binance Alpha 2.0 will resume trading on DeAgentAI (AIA) at 16:00 Eastern Time on December 15, 2025.
On December 15th, Binance Alpha’s official data showed that DeAgentAI (AIA) had successfully completed the smart contract swap, and trading resumed at 16:00 UTC+8 on December 15th. The price of AIA increased significantly after the opening session, with gains exceeding 160%, making it the top-performing asset in Binance Alpha’s list.
As of the time of writing, the price of AIA is currently $0.11, with a 24-hour decline of 6.3%. The circulating market value is currently around $16 million.

Rave: A cultural platform driven by offline communities, supported by Trump’s son and CZ.
As a DAO organization focused on “decentralized music and cultural communities and platforms,” RaveDAO has developed rapidly. After months of community building and project construction, RaveDAO has already conducted several NFT sales.
On November 10, RaveDAO announced details regarding its token economy model and token distribution. The official statement indicated that the tokens were designed to connect artists, organizers, and fans through a token-based economy, thereby promoting a decentralized entertainment ecosystem where “culture becomes an agreement.” The total supply of RAVE tokens is 1 billion units, with 30% allocated to the community, 31% to the ecosystem, 20% to the team and co-builders, 5% to early supporters, 5% for liquidity purposes, 3% for distribution, and 6% for use by foundations and charitable initiatives. Approximately 23.03% of the tokens will be available for circulation after the Token Generation Event (TGE), while the remaining tokens have a 12-month cliff period and a 36-month linear unlocking period.
One month later, on December 10, Binance Alpha announced that it would list RaveDAO tokens.
The next day, news spread quickly that RaveDAO received dual support from WLFI and Aster. On December 12, within just one hour of listing on Binance Alpha, the trading volume exceeded $25 million.
Not only that, but RaveDAO’s “upper-layer strategy” also stood out prominently. On the evening of December 12, Trump’s eldest son shared and followed updates regarding the collaboration between Aster and USD1. As a result, RaveDAO gained significant exposure. CZ also shared this tweet, causing RAVE prices to rise further.
On December 13, RAVE reached a price of $0.67 per unit, with a 24-hour increase of over 410%.
On December 14, Binance Contracts launched RAVE U-based contracts.
On December 15, RAVE was listed on various centralized exchanges such as OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Aster, Gate, Kucoin, and MEXC. At that time, the price dropped to around $0.41 per unit.
As of the time of writing, the on-chain price of RAVE is currently $0.38 per unit, with a 24-hour increase of over 12%. The circulating market value is currently estimated at $88 million.
