XRP FNB推出加密资产投资服务，支持24/7交易
第一国民银行（FNB）客户现可通过该行现有的股票交易平台直接交易BTC、ETH、XRP、SOL和USDT。该服务起步门槛仅为10兰特，提供全天候不间断服务，反映了市场对加密货币及替代性投资选项日益增长的需求。
合作背景与市场驱动
作为南非第二大银行集团旗下的机构，第一国民银行与获得当地牌照的交易所VALR合作，正式推出了这项加密资产投资服务。此举将BTC、ETH、XRP、SOL和USDT直接整合进FNB现有的股票交易平台上，用户最低仅需10兰特即可参与，且服务全年无休。
此外，FNB拥有近900万客户群体。此次推出的新服务旨在回应银行所称的持续且不断增长的替代性投资需求。
为何此时推出？
截至2025年底，南非主要平台Luno、VALR和Ovex托管的加密资产总值已超过250亿兰特。超过600万南非人持有加密资产，该国在全球范围内记录了极高的比特币采用率。
Sizwe Nxedlana, CEO of Private Banking and Wealth Management of FNB and RMB, said the launch was a direct response to customer feedback rather than a speculative bet on the asset class. Bheki Mkhize, CEO of FNB Wealth and Asset Management, added that customers have shown strong interest in cryptocurrencies, and FNB's role is to provide a trusted platform that allows customers to access these assets while managing risk.
Important restrictions to know
There is an important restriction that needs to be noted: Cryptographic assets cannot be transferred into or out of the FNB system. This makes the service different from a stand-alone exchange account: customers gain investment exposure in the bank's internal environment, rather than having unlimited coin transfer rights.
In addition, South Africa's foreign exchange control regulations regulate the cross-border flow of value, and this restriction also serves as a security measure; retaining assets in a controlled environment reduces exposure to fraudulent wallets and fraudulent platforms.
Effect of Scale and Future Outlook
FNB is not the first bank to enter this field. Discovery Bank reached a similar arrangement with Luno in November 2025, allowing customers to link Luno accounts to the Discovery Bank app to purchase, hold and sell crypto assets. However, FNB entered the space by partnering with VALR, taking South Africa's mainstream adoption story to a new level with a broader customer base and deeper retail banking coverage.
