Interest in the derivatives market is rising
The performance of the futures market echoes the momentum of the spot market. Within 24 hours, the open interest amount on the LUNA contract increased by more than 90% to US$5.1 million, with Binance reporting futures positions doubling. In contrast, total open interest in LUNA futures on all platforms fell by approximately 8.5% in the last four hours, indicating that most speculative interest was concentrated in the period before and after the upgrade announcement.
