AVAX AVAX One Technology canceled US$14.9 million in debt in the third quarter and continues to advance its share repurchase program
AVAX One Technology Ltd.'s disclosure filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 7, 2026 showed that the company canceled a total of US$14.9 million in debt in the third quarter of 2026. The move significantly reduced the company's balance sheet leverage ratio and marked a major optimization of its financial structure.
Progress in debt restructuring and deleveraging
This debt reduction was mainly achieved through multiple channels: the company converted US$7.1 million worth of convertible bonds into common shares; US$7.4 million of debt was directly repaid in cash; and another US$400,000 was redeemed by conversion into common shares rather than cash. As of September 30, 2026, AVAX One's remaining convertible debt has dropped to approximately $970,000. The figure dropped significantly from the beginning of the year, and the company said the move was aimed at consolidating its financial foundation and laying a more solid foundation for operations in the fourth quarter.
Share buybacks and changes in capital structure
Meanwhile, AVAX One disclosed that it repurchased 333,500 ordinary shares in the third quarter. The data has been adjusted based on the company's previously implemented reverse stock splits. This repurchase activity, coupled with the net effect of debt-to-equity swaps, increased the total number of ordinary shares outstanding in the company from approximately 7.36 billion shares as of June 30, 2026 to approximately 9.99 billion shares.
