Bitcoin stabilized at the US$82,000 mark, and analysts pointed to a buy signal after the correction.
Bitcoin has recently fallen from a high close to US$87,000 and continues to face downward pressure. However, a technical indicator tracked by cryptocurrency analyst Ali Charts has sparked expectations for a possible rebound. This indicator is a TD Sequential (Trend Series Indicator), which is used to identify trend failures and is currently signaling potential buying opportunities for Bitcoin.
Technical Outlook and Recent Price Trend
Bitcoin trading price was approximately US$82,083, down 1.5% from the previous trading day. During the latest trading session, its price fluctuated between a high of $83,616 and a low of $81,792, making $82,000 the focus of market participants.
Bitcoin performed strongly in early October, hitting a high of $86,995 on October 5, before reversing amid heavy selling activity. In the following days, prices continued their decline, falling to US$85,557 on October 6, and further to US$83,276 on October 7. Selling pressure continued.
The continued decline in Bitcoin prices comes against a backdrop of widespread headwinds for risky assets. Investors continue to pay close attention to changes in U.S. Treasury yields, oil prices and global macroeconomic factors that have exacerbated the volatility of the cryptocurrency market.
Analysts point out potential rebound areas
Ali Charts, a well-known cryptocurrency analyst, pointed out that after Bitcoin fell 5.55% from its October 5 high, a TD Sequential buy signal appeared on its four-hour chart. TD Sequential is a technical analysis tool designed to identify areas where price trends may lose momentum, thereby implying potential price reversals.
Terminology: TD Sequential is a widely used technical indicator that analyzes continuous price K-lines or histograms to identify trend exhaustion points and possible reversal points in asset prices.
Bitcoin has experienced a correction trend of approximately 5.5% since its October high. The emergence of the TD Sequential signal means that the current selling sequence may be drawing to an end and, if confirmed, could pave the way for a reversal.
Currently, the US$82,000 area is an important support area. Direct technical support for Bitcoin is between $81,800 and $82,000, which is very close to the current price. Maintaining this range will provide buyers with room to push prices back to $83,000.
Key Resistance and Risk Levels
If Bitcoin clearly breaks through the $84,000 to $84,600 resistance zone, it will strengthen bullish momentum and could open a channel to test the $86,000 to $87,000 range observed earlier this month. However, if Bitcoin falls below $81,800, the effectiveness of the current technical pattern will be weakened, exposing prices to a new round of downward pressure.
Traders are closely watching whether current signals will lead to a reversal or further weakness. Although technical indicators showed hope for a short-term rebound, analysts stressed that it would require continued price movements above key resistance levels to be confirmed.
Successfully holding the US$82,000 support level can give buyers the confidence to re-test higher resistance levels, but failure to hold the line could prolong the current correction process. As Ali Charts emphasized, the TD Sequential signal provides a potential trigger for bullish sentiment. Despite this, traders are still waiting for confirmation of price behavior in order to position positions for trend reversal. Markets remain cautious while closely monitoring the key threshold of $82,000.
