As of 12:00 am Korean Standard Time (KST) on September 6, the trading price of Bitcoin (BTC) on the South Korean Upbit Exchange was 108.96 million won, down 0.15% from the previous day. On the global exchange Binance, the price of BTC is 107.58 million won, with a price difference of 1.38 million won between the two, forming a "kimchi premium" of 1.28%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, also recorded a "kimchi premium" of 1.33%. Other major altcoins also trade at a premium, with Solana (SOL) premium rate of 1.29%, XRP of 1.31%, Dogecoin (DOGE) of 0.58%, and Sui (SUI) of 1.30%. Currently, the "kimchi premium" of most mainstream altcoins is concentrated in the range of 0.5% to 1.3%.
