It is worth noting that the price retains eight decimal places. This eighth decimal place is crucial and determines the precision of the trading venue's SHIB quote: the smallest unit of change (Tick Size) at that digit is equivalent to 0.175% of the current price. If you want to set a trading order with an accuracy of one thousandth (0.1%), it cannot be achieved on SHIB because there is no room left between the displayed values.

This gap is at the heart of the problem: prices are displayed crude, while quantities remain arbitrarily refined.

Meaning and limitations of holder address

Holder address is an Ethereum address with a SHIB balance greater than zero. Address does not equal person. Exchanges typically concentrate customer balances in a few pooled addresses, while one person can run any number of addresses. Arithmetic, each address shares an average market value of $1,821, but this average does not explain the distribution.

The turnover rate for SHIB is 1.41%, and DOGE is 2.54%.

For prices with six zeroes, the second important indicator is trading activity relative to size. In the past 24 hours, SHIB's trading volume was US$47.6 million, its market value was US$3.36 billion, and its turnover rate was 1.41%.

For reference, the relevant data on the same Sunday are as follows: The transaction volume of Dogecoin was US$370.5 million, the market value was US$14.58 billion, and the turnover rate was 2.54%. Ethereum is 1.40%, and Bitcoin is 0.87%.

Compared with its size, the trading activity of SHIB is significantly lower than that of Dogecoin. This makes no difference for small orders, but it has an impact for orders of thousands of euros, because the depth of the order book determines whether you get a quote or a worse price. Combined with a price step of 0.175%, it is difficult for SHIB to have a bid-ask spread below this figure.

Limit orders and stop orders: The actual levels that can be entered

calculations become specific. Suppose you want to place a stop loss order 2.00% below the current price. Arithmetic this would be $0.000055958. Either the field does not accept the ninth decimal place at all, or it will discard it when you leave the field. Holding period under Article 23 of the German Income Tax Law: one year and a threshold of 1,000 euros

For private investors in Germany, the sale of SHIB is a private disposal transaction. The applicable provision is Article 23 of the Income Tax Law. The first paragraph covers disposal transactions of other assets, in which the period between acquisition and disposal shall not exceed one year in the legal provisions.

Anyone holding a SHIB for more than one year is exempt from the proceeds at the time of sale. For one year, the threshold set out in paragraph 3 applies: if the total proceeds from private disposal transactions during the calendar year are less than 1,000 euros, the proceeds are exempt from taxation. The word "threshold" should be understood literally. If the total proceeds reach or exceed € 1,000, the full amount is taxable, not just the excess amount.

Why decimal places also affect here

Taxable income comes from the acquisition and disposal prices denominated in euros, not the unit quantity.
