Bitcoin's US$80,000 support attracts buyers to enter-the rebound in the crypto market remains limit

Core Points

Bitcoin found buying support in the US$80,000 to US$80,500 range. 0.236 Fibonacci retracement levels, the 50-day simple moving average (SMA) and the lower edge of the rising channel meet in this region. Ethereum, BNB, XRP, Solana, Dogecoin and Cardano have all seen prices decline in the past 24 hours. Trump's remarks on Iran have eased some of the immediate risk pressures.

Three chart signals converge around US$80,000.

Bitcoin prices rebounded to approximately US$82,900 after the previous day's decline pushed Bitcoin into a key area already highlighted on the daily chart. The trend followed the previous sell-off, when BTC fell below the $83,000 mark as oil prices and U.S. Treasury yields climbed.

The US$80,000 to US$80,500 region includes the 0.236 Fibonacci retracement level at approximately US$80,300, the rising 50-day simple moving average, and the lower boundary of Bitcoin's rising channel. The combination of these key technical indicators has brought the latest callback test into the scope of a more severe test for the September rally.

Bitcoin rebounded immediately after yesterday's intraday low hit the Fibonacci line. This response strengthens the weight of the wider area, as the pullback simultaneously encountered triple resistance from calculated retracement levels, moving averages and rising channel boundaries. Although the shadow penetrated the channel many times during the volatile trading session, its lower edge continued to rise below the price. Bitcoin has not yet closed below this line for multiple consecutive trading days, which indicates that the overall recovery structure is still complete and the market is still operating above this trend line.

A higher daily closing price and K-line entities remain above the demand area will provide stronger support for the rebound. The momentum has now cooled to a neutral region, so the reaction around $80,000 provides a clearer signal than a mere RSI indicator.

Bitcoin rebounds ahead of large altcoins

As of around 14:48 UTC on October 9, CoinMarketCap data showed that Bitcoin rose 0.36% in 24 hours to US$82,909. The large-cap currency sector performed weakly, with most major assets still suffering losses from previous declines.

Ethereum, BNB, XRP and Solana all fell more than 1%, while Dogecoin and Cardano showed larger declines. Although Bitcoin has slowed the overall retreat, the market has not yet demonstrated a unified buying demand that can drive the leading altcoins to rise simultaneously.

The situation in Iran is suspended to relieve immediate pressure

According to the Guardian, U.S. President Donald Trump said that the United States will avoid attacking Iran before the mid-term elections on November 3. The easing of this geopolitical signal has also injected a calm factor into the market. Concerns about escalating situations had previously driven oil prices and government bond yields higher, creating a more difficult backdrop for the cryptocurrency market earlier this week. The clear pause narrowed the near-end scenario of traders 'previous pricing, but the broader conflict and its potential impact on energy markets remain unresolved.

This relaxed atmosphere came as Bitcoin tested daily charts supported the cluster. Crude oil, bond yields, derivatives positions and spot demand will continue to shape the next trend, while the lag in altcoin response suggests that traders are still selectively taking risks.

The close will show whether buyers can hold the area

Bitcoin has tested the Fibonacci part of this confluence zone. A daily close above $80,000 to $80,500 will strengthen the argument that buyers are defending the broad range, while a continued close below that range will put more pressure on the structure of the recovery in September.
