FollowingAxis Robotics brings $AXIS to the Base Network
Axis Robotics has officially launched $AXIS, a utility token for its Physical Artificial Intelligence (Physical AI) data engine running on the Base Network. The token generation event marks a new chapter in the project, which has quietly built one of the most active decentralized applications (DApps) on Coinbase's second-layer network.
Axis Robotics positions itself as the leading Base native composite data engine, focusing on the physical AI field. Since its launch on Base in March 2026, its scale has expanded to more than 5.5 million tracks, from more than 200,000 contributors, and ranks among the top two DApps on the Base platform.
Crowdsourcing Training Data and Incentive Mechanisms
The company collects training data for robots crowdsourcing through browser simulators and mobile applications, and records verified contributions on the Base chain. Accepted traces receive a unique "data ID" and are recorded on the Base chain, establishing verifiable ownership and traceability information. At the same time, contributors can receive rewards through the "Train-to-Earn" model.
Community Sales and Financing
A community sales event hosted by Sonar by EchoDot sold 10 million $AXIS tokens at US$0.10 each, accounting for 1% of the total supply. The sale is open to qualified participants, with a minimum investment of US$100 and a maximum of US$100,000 (using USDC on the Base Network), and a subscription period is September 21 to 28.
