Cows are also moving towards digitalization: Indian company Gomini has introduced a NFT-based model

In the heart of Bihar state in India, a massive NFT revolution is quietly taking place. The blockchain-based platform Gomini is transforming the traditional model of livestock ownership by introducing NFTs representing real cattle.

● Gomini in India has launched a NFT initiative that allows individuals to own dairy cows.

● Each month, these NFT cows can produce two liters of milk for their owners.

● Gomini is working with NABARD to establish clusters of farmer-producer organizations, promoting sustainable farming methods.

Using the security and transparency of blockchain technology, Gomini is creating a new class of assets that are both profitable and socially responsible. This initiative makes owning dairy cows accessible to people from all over the world, rather than being a privilege reserved for farmers. This model not only provides new investment opportunities for global investors but also empowers rural farmers and supports the development of sustainable agriculture.

Revealing the potential of NFT-based cattle ownership

During a recent conversation, Arjun Sharma, CEO of the Indian blockchain company Gomini, shared details about their innovative NFT project. This project allows people around the world to own a local cow from Bihar state in India. This cow is then converted into a unique non-fungible token (NFT). Mr. Sharma said:

“We are converting the cows in the cluster into NFTs. With these NFTs, you can own a cow. Although the initial funding comes from the owners of the clusters, once someone owns an NFT, they can benefit from those cows.”

What’s most surprising about this project is that NFT holders will receive two liters of authentic ghee every month. This makes owning an NFT cow much more similar to owning a real cow and enjoying its dairy products.

What is Gomini’s clustering model?

Gomini is India’s first platform offering managed cow care services. It was launched in August 2025, with the goal of revitalizing India’s dairy economy through responsible farming practices, healthy cattle breeding traditions, and rural empowerment. The Gomini app is already available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and has received positive feedback from early users.

It’s worth noting that Gomini is promoting its concept through cluster-based programs. Anyone can own a cow through NFTs and benefit from it. According to Arjun Sharma, this model helps reduce capital costs.

From 2013 to 2020, Arjun Sharma conducted extensive research, including visiting 1,000 cattle farms and interacting with over 100,000 farmers. This research laid the foundation for this innovative approach. Arjun Sharma said:
