BTC Elon Musk added that by 2030, economic growth could even reach “triple-digit levels”. However, some Bitcoin holders are concerned about a bear market in 2026. The Bitcoin community hopes that this cryptocurrency will rise again after billionaire Elon Musk predicts significant growth in the U.S. economy as early as December 2026.
Musk posted on the X forum on Tuesday: “Double-digit growth is expected to occur within 12 to 18 months. If artificial intelligence can be used as an indicator of economic growth (and it should be), then triple-digit growth is possible within about five years.”
Bitcoin holders typically pay attention to macroeconomic signals, such as economic growth forecasts and central bank policies, to understand how broader economic trends may affect Bitcoin.
This year, the Fed’s rate cuts have been one of the key factors that investors are closely monitoring. They try to determine whether a relaxed financial environment will drive up the prices of high-risk assets.
Bitcoin supporters agree with Musk’s predictions.
Bitcoin entrepreneur Anthony Pompeo replied, “The world’s richest man predicts that GDP will experience double-digit growth within the next 18 months. He also said that if artificial intelligence fully realizes its potential, GDP growth of over 100% is possible.”

Meanwhile, Oryon Finance, a provider of real-world asset infrastructure, said that Musk’s predictions “are not usually random noise”.
