The world’s largest sovereign wealth fund, the Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund, has seen an increase of 192% in its holdings of BTC through indirect means over the past year. Although the fund does not directly own BTC, it now holds shares in companies like Coinbase and Metaplanet, as well as in Strategy, a major provider of BTC investments. This indicates that institutional investors are increasingly turning to listed companies, ETFs, and bonds to gain exposure to Bitcoin. In the second quarter, Metaplanet_JP’s net assets tripled—an increase of 299% compared to the previous quarter. Now, it plans to introduce #Bitcoin-powered preferred stocks to tap into Japan’s underdeveloped fixed-income market. Let’s analyze this in more detail:

Bitcoin price forecast: A target of $130,000 for bulls
After breaking through the downward channel that had been holding back its price movements since mid-July, Bitcoin is currently trading at $122,535.
On the 4-hour chart, this breakthrough was supported by a series of lower highs and the 50-period SMA at $117,774. The larger green K-line indicates strong buying activity, while the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level at $117,335 has become a strong support level.
