BTC The debate over whether quantum computing poses a threat to Bitcoin has once again heated up. However, Michael Saylor, a senior executive at MicroStrategy and a long-term supporter of Bitcoin, has a completely different view. He believes that quantum technology isn’t a “black swan event” that could destroy Bitcoin. Instead, it will drive improvements in encryption algorithms and network infrastructure, making the Bitcoin ecosystem safer and more mature. With continuous inflows of funds into Bitcoin spot ETFs and an increasing proportion of long-term holders, this perspective is helping to alleviate market concerns about technological risks. It also provides new confidence for Bitcoin’s medium-to-long-term prospects in 2026.
Saylor stated that network upgrades will strengthen Bitcoin’s security.
In a post published on the X platform on December 16th, Saylor explained that once quantum computing makes breakthroughs, the Bitcoin network will undergo upgrades. Currently active Bitcoin will be migrated to a new system, while those that have been lost will remain frozen.
He concluded, “Security improves, supply decreases, and Bitcoin becomes stronger.”
This stance contradicts many alarmist predictions. These predictions claim that Bitcoin’s encryption mechanisms are vulnerable to quantum hacking attacks, potentially leading to network collapses.
However, when Cryptonews interviewed David Carvalho, CEO and chief scientist of quantum protocols, about the threats posed by quantum computing to traditional cryptography, the former ethical hacker predicted that around 30% of Bitcoin circulation might face theft when “Q-Day” arrives.

自10月以来，当前市场似乎正在重演这一节奏。尽管近期波动加剧，价格依然稳固站在长期支撑位之上，并持续形成更高的月度收盘价。
RSI仍维持在50这一中性水平之上，表明长期趋势依然偏多。
只要比特币能够守住8万美元中段区域，这一轮整理向上突破的概率仍然占优。
若月线强势收于108,000美元上方，行情很可能重新打开通道，推动2026年牛市行情，目标指向140,000至150,000美元区间。
