SHIB Dogcoin-themed cryptocurrency: Shiba Inu (SHIB), the "Shiba Inu" themed cryptocurrency, experienced a rare lull in its iconic token destruction event. According to data from the Shibburn platform, no SHIB tokens have been moved out of circulation in the past 24 hours, resulting in a 100% drop in the destruction rate. Shibburn, a tool that tracks Shiba Inu's deflation mechanism, reported that no SHIB tokens were sent to the destruction address during the most recent measured time period. In comparison, 91,120,170 SHIBs were destroyed the day before, when the destruction rate surged by 182,140%.
The zero destruction volume that day does not point to technical problems within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, but rather reflects the fluctuating nature of destruction activities, which depends largely on community participation and token trading volume. In the past 24 hours, Shiba Inu's destruction rate dropped to zero, marking a 100% drop in sharp contrast to the 182,140% surge the previous day.
In the previous cycle, the project community destroyed a total of 401.3 million SHIBs, while a total of 707.51 million tokens were removed in the past 30 days. Overall, since its launch, the market has destroyed a total of 410,844,855,570,460 SHIB tokens, accounting for 41.08% of the initial trillion supply.
Market Performance and Price Pressure
As destruction activities change dramatically, the price of SHIB has also come under pressure. In the past 24 hours, Shiba Inu fell 0.89% to $0.0000536. The decline in the value of the SHIB coincided with a broader market decline, which came after Federal Reserve minutes showed most officials expected another rate hike before the end of the year.
Data from analyst firm CoinGlass shows that during the same time frame, total liquidations in the crypto market reached US$969 million.

On Thursday, Shiba Inu suffered a sharp loss for the second consecutive day, hitting a low of US$0.00005099. The price of the memin has fallen for four consecutive days since reaching a recent high of $0.00006 on October 5. During the decline, SHIB traded below its 50-day moving average and briefly below its 200-day moving average, but then rebounded above its long-term moving average.
