Extended Arc Migration Plan and User Deadline:
- Extended will migrate its settlement network to Circle's Arc blockchain during the week of October 19.
- Users holding USDT or wBTC more than US$1 must convert it to USDC or cirBTC before 12:00 UTC on October 21.
- Convert to get a 0.50% premium paid by Extended, with no conversion fees, and funds will arrive within 8 hours.
- Deposits and withdrawals will be suspended for approximately two hours, but transfers between transactions and sub-accounts will continue.
Risk and Arc Features
Extended is operating a perpetual exchange that offers stocks, commodities, indices and cryptocurrency contracts. Arc, a Layer 1 network built specifically for financial markets, was officially launched on September 16. Trading activities will continue throughout the migration process.
Extended Arc migration plan and user deadline
Extended posted on the X platform announcing: "Extended is migrating its settlement network to Arc." The platform lists three main improvements:
- Infrastructure level: Transactions will be settled on Arc for sub-second finality, and fees will be denominated in stable currency to make costs more predictable.
- Market depth: Extended anticipates that spot and perpetual markets will gain broader real-world asset coverage and deeper liquidity.
- Data continuity: 账户、子账户、持仓、订单、历史记录、积分和密钥等数据将保持不变并完整迁移。
用户操作指南：
然而，如果在子账户中持有超过 1 美元的 USDT 或 wBTC，用户必须在截止日期前采取行动。由于这两种资产均不存在于 Arc 网络上，用户可以在应用内以 1:1 的比例加上 0.50% 的溢价将它们转换为 USDC 或 cirBTC。Extended 将支付该溢价，且不收取任何兑换费用。该溢价将在迁移完成后 8 小时内记入用户账户。一次应用内的批准即可覆盖所有资产及所有子账户。自公告发布当日 UTC 时间 16:00 起，已禁用这两种资产的充值功能。
自动处理项：
- ETH 余额将以 1:1 的比例自动转换为 Arc 上的 wETH。
- USDC 将作为原生 USDC 进行迁移。
- Vault 余额、XVS 余额以及提现权利将被保留。
对于其他用户而言，无需采取任何额外行动。
流程风险与 Arc 特性
在 Extended Arc 迁移期间，充值和提现功能将暂停约两小时。子账户之间的转账功能将保持正常运行。Extended 建议用户“确保现有持仓拥有充足的保证金”。具体的时间安排将在临近日期时公布。
未遵守截止日期的后果：
Under Extended Arc migration rules, users who miss the deadline will face account restrictions. Standard clearing rules still apply, and such users cannot call margin or close positions. Affected sub-account positions will be forcibly closed at the marked price without charge, and all pending orders will be cancelled. Extended will refund relevant assets to the user's login wallet on Starknet or Ethereum and bear the corresponding network fees.
