NEAR NEAR Protocol's native tokens have risen strongly and ranked among the top 20 in market value.
NEAR Protocol's native tokens have performed strongly recently. While the momentum of the entire cryptocurrency market gradually cooled, NEAR maintained its upward momentum. In the past 30 days, the token has increased by approximately 125%, and despite a correction earlier today, it has managed to rank among the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market value.
According to Bitwise's Matt Hougan, NEAR stands out because its ambitious AI (artificial intelligence) vision is supported by existing actual business activities and revenue.
AI ambition and business reality
NEAR rose 198% in the third quarter, far outperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum. But for Hougan, the bigger highlight is what the project is building and its business trajectory. NEAR calls itself the "AI blockchain" and its long-term goal is to become an AI agent infrastructure that can trade with each other and interact with the wider world.
The main criticism is also clear: Currently, NEAR is not mainly used by AI agents, and its users are still humans. But Hougan said that didn't stop one of its products from gaining significant attention. The cumulative transaction volume currently processed by NEAR Intentions exceeds US$30 billion. Bitwise CIO explained that the product is expected to generate approximately $45 million in fees this year. A portion of this fee is returned to the token holder through repurchase.

NEAR Intents 遭遇安全漏洞，损失约 380 万美元
