ETH The price of Ethereum fell below $4,000, causing significant market fluctuations. Some traders with large positions in ETH became the “biggest losers,” with individual settlements reaching up to $36.4 million. This wave of volatility not only reflects the high risks in the crypto market but also reminds investors that it is crucial to manage leverage and risk effectively during periods of alternating bull and bear markets.

On Thursday, after Ethereum’s price dropped below $4,000, one trader lost $36.4 million due to a huge long-position settlement.
Ethereum underwent long-side settlements worth over $718 million
The wallet “0xa523” bet on 9,152 ETH, expecting prices to rise, but it became one of the largest single-traderer losses within the past 24 hours, with all its positions liquidated.
Lookonchain reported that the wallet “0xa523” now has only $500,000 left in funds, resulting in total losses of over $45.32 million. This makes it the “biggest loser” in the Ethereum market.
According to CoinGlass data, in the past 24 hours, bullish traders suffered heavy losses due to long-side pressure amounting to $331.66 million.
In just this week, Ethereum traders have experienced long-side settlements worth over $718 million. In contrast, short-side settlements amounted to $79.62 million. During the same period, Ethereum prices dropped by 10.56%.

该区域与ETH 200天指数移动平均线(200日EMA;蓝色波线)在3392美元附近重叠，这表明如果抛售行情在10月继续加剧，最坏情况下价格可能下跌15%。

知名分析师Kamran Azghar指出，约3600美元区域是一个"关键需求"区，他表示ETH价格可能反弹至4900美元或更高水平。
At the same time, analyst Cold Blood Shiller pointed out that Ethereum’s weekly chart shows that the price is testing the key support level around $3,800-$4,000. This area served as a resistance level during the 2022-2023 cycle. If the price can hold above this level, it could indicate a positive trend, turning resistance into support. If ETH bulls can maintain their position at $3,800-$4,000 over the next few days, there is still a possibility of a rebound to the $4,760-$5,000 range. This target has been mentioned by several bullish analysts in the past.
