● In May 2025, Saqib announced that his country was preparing to establish strategic reserves of Bitcoin (BTC), and was moving towards more cryptocurrency-friendly regulations.

From this moment on, the “grassroots enthusiasm” seen in everyday life began to be taken into consideration by the national strategy. The goal is not to ban cryptocurrencies, but to turn this third-largest grassroots economic sector worldwide into a transparent, controllable, taxable entity that can contribute to the country’s foreign exchange earnings.
